Basic coding

SmallBASIC implementations:
The basic idea behind coding is systematic replacement of one symbol or set with another.

Here is example of replacing a 0 with 010 and a 1 with 110, this leads to an expanding set of symbols.

For
"an a" type coding* a very interesting thing happens in the expansions.

t$ = "0"
for
r = 1 to 5
s$ = t$ : t$ = ""

Special characters (like German Umlauts) are ignored and can not be entered

Forums:
SmallBASIC implementations:

If you use the input command or a input in a form or when typing code in the editor, all
special characters e.g. German Umlauts (ä,ü,ö,ß etc.) can not be used and are ignored.

This bug is in effect on Windows and Android (with soft or bluetooth hardware keyboard).

I have tested it on 4 devices.

I find SmallBasic very usefull and very good work, but this bug prevents me for using
it for serious scripting tasks.

Best regards, PPK!
